10/10 🔥 Definitely one of the best banh mi sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. I got the char siu banh mi and the meat was super tender, flavorful, and had a really nice little spice to it. The bread was crispy, the vegetables were fresh, and the jalapeños gave it that perfect extra kick. Everything worked together really well. I also got the mixed fruit tea and that was a 10/10 too — super refreshing and delicious. If you’re in Bakersfield and haven’t tried this place yet, definitely give them a shot. Really good food and absolutely worth supporting!

Great food, good prices and overall a cute place to visit when in the area. Unfortunately it's so close to my job that I've gone there 3 times last week alone. I am not complaining, but I need to control myself. The sandwiches are big and the drinks tastes wonderful. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely Incredible – A Must-Visit Gem! If you are looking for a truly authentic, high-quality Vietnamese culinary experience, A Fruit Tea & Banh Mi is an absolute hidden gem in Bakersfield! The Banh Mi #2 Cold Cut Sandwich and the STAND by BanhMi are both excellent — huge portions and packed with flavor for only $9.25! The bread is perfectly crispy outside and soft inside, with generous traditional paté, butter, and fresh ingredients. Their handcrafted fruit teas and boba are spectacular. Family-owned with warm, welcoming service. Pork banh mi sandwiches were so good. Highly recommend this place. Will be my new go to spot for banh mi. The pork rolls were also delicious but they have mint inside, which is not my preference. Next time I will ask without mint. Can't wait to go back and try the matcha.

Stopped by for the first time and had the best experience! The young man and woman who helped us were so welcoming. I wish I would’ve gotten their names because they were both so kind and fun to talk to. You could really feel how excited she is about her new shop (they’ve been open about 2 months), and that excitement totally adds to the experience. She chatted with us, explained the drinks, and even let us sample a few, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. We tried the milk tea, salt cream Vietnamese coffee, and banana cream matcha, and honestly… all of them were amazing. The cream top was next level—super rich and creamy. I grabbed a Vietnamese coffee at around 8pm and saved it for the next morning, and it still tasted just as good as when I first tried it! Don’t skip the food either—the pork banh mi (#1 on the menu) was super yummy and totally worth it. Such a great vibe, delicious drinks, and awesome service. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend checking this place out!
